On Tuesday Mrs Whornham underwent a serious eye oper-- . atlon at the LDS hospital. Tha operation was on her left eye and was for a disconnected retina. Van Orden of Beaver will the star attraction in a three months' nationwide advertising be campaign which Is now being launched by the Greyhound Bus Lines in Its "Meet the Man" promotion, Mr. Van Orden, popular local druggist and a member of Beaver Lions Club, has been Greyhound agent In Beaver since January, 1948. He can take a lot of personal credit for his part in the development of a great transportation system.
