Thirteen little guests were present. Games were enjoyed and refreshments served. Those who were present were Bud Edwards, Vernile Bradshaw, Leon Patterson, Ronald Bradshaw, Philip Edwards, Howard Ele-nBradshaw, Kathleen Edwards, HelEdwards, Julia Bradshaw, Mrs. Abbie Osborne was hosstess to the "Friendship" quilt club of the home at week last Thursday of her daughter ,Mrs. Irene Green. The event was also Mrs. Osborne's birthday, and she received many beautiful blocks. Her quilt was not only a friendship quilt, but also a beautiful one. Katherine Kirk of Milford is visit ing at the home fo Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Blackett of Beaver spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dan K, Barton. Buddy Murdock, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Murdock, was taken to the Milford hospital Saturday, where he had his ears lanced. He was able to be brought home the same day. Allen, 13 year old child of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Thompson died at the Milford hospital Sunday morning. Allen has been suffering from tub erculosis for five years, but for the last couple of years he seemed to be Improving. Last Thursday at five P. M. he became ill and when Dr. Mc Quarrie saw him Friday he was so violently ill that little hope was had of his recovery. He was taken to the hospital at Milford, Friday and an operation performed in an effort to save his life. Death was caused by an abcess due to tuberculosis break ing and poisoning his whole body. Allen was always uncomplaining, al ways better and the whole community extends to the heart broken family sympathy. Mothers day was fitlngly observed here Sunday by the Sunday School. A very good program was given at which a beautiful little booklet was presented to each mother. A very good program given in the afternoon' by members of the Aaronic priesthood. Brothers James Yardley and Clyde Messinger from Beaver attended. ADAMSVILLE surprise party was given for Shirley Puffer Monday afternoon, the event being her 7th birthday. Miss Velma Evans and Mr. John nie De Haan arrived in Adamsville, A May 13, and on Wednesday went to St. George where they were united in marriage in the temple.
