More than fifty girls have complet' ed the work and will receive the pins on that day. The sewing club will hold their exercises a little lat er after their demonstration teams are trained and selected.. The Beaver Clubs have completed the one year's outline, and one club went on with the second year's work and will complete it before the end of this month at which time they will hold their exercises, and probably a big outing together with Minersville, The two winning demonstration teams of the county will go to the state fair again this year to compete with teams from the other counties of the state for the right to represent Utah at the Pacific International Livestock Show at Portland, Oregon. These teams will be guests of the State Fair board with all expenses paid while there. The newly-wedde- d couple came to Beaver the following day and on Thursday night, August 10th, Mrs. Morris entertained twenty-fiv- e girl friends at a bridal shower in compliment to her daughter. Saturday night, August 11th, twenty-three relatives of Mrs. Morris' were guests at a reception held In honor of Mr. and Mrs. Warner at the home of the bride's parents. The couple were recipients of many beautiful and useful gifts.
