Having a basic knowledge about good vision and common vision conditions is the first step in assuring a lifetime of good vision for individuals and their families. To increase our awareness of the precious gift of sight, March has been proclaimed "Save your vision Month", since the year 1927. To increase your awareness of "Save your vision Month," organizations like the American Optometric Association have come up with a group questionnaires called "The great American Eye Test." There are four separate questionnaires geared for a particular audience: children, women, baby boomers, and seniors. You can take the vision test by simply visiting the AOA's website at www.aoanet.org and click on the icon for "The great American Eye test." Just download the questionnaire you are interested in. Even if you are seeing well at this time, an annual eye exam can prevent future vision problems from getting out of hand.
