Show By Shelly Babcock 472-560- 4 teenage daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Fox of Helper, has returned home after a six week vacation to Alaska. She was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Barney Barrier and daughter, Linda of Ogden. They visited the cities of Petersburg, Haines, and Juneau, Alaska where they visted Pat and Lyman Ellsworth. Mrs. Ellsworth is the former Pat Campbell and a former Helper resident. Kelly reported having a lot of fun, seeing new places and things. She was especially interested in seeing the many bears roaming free. She was also glad to be home again. Mr. and Mrs. Santo Lupo Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Santo Lupo Jr. and son Cody, spent their vacation in Yellowstone Park. They visited Bear Lake, Jackson Hole, and Cody.Wyo. where they visited the Buffalo Bill Museum. also They traveled through Rexburg, , Idaho and the flood areas of that state. They spent a week fishing and camping, returning home July 4 th. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Tamllos of Helper are happy to announce the birth of their first baby on July 1st. The baby girl weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and has been named Mika Bea. First time grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. George Tamllos. Ket-cheki- n, are rs Beatrice and Mrs. Tillie Tamllos, all Helper. Mr. and Mrs. Max Mrs. Schoen-berge- r, and son Tracey traveled to Walsenburg, Colo, on June 28 for a short vacation. They visited at the home of Mrs. Magann's Uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Tomsic. They also visited with other family and friends, including Mr. and Mrs. Walter Laney. On their way home they took the scenic drive through Silverton and Ouray, Colo, and visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Tomsic and family in Moab. During the 4th of July weekend, Mr. and Mrs.' Tomsic from Colorado traveled here to visit for a few days on their way to Las Vegas, Nev. They were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Taskar of Helper. While they were here, they enjoyed a holiday picnic with family members in Eccles Magann Canyon. Mrs. Jennie Chesnik is at home now after spending two weeks in California. She accompanied her sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Robinson of Salt Lake City. They visited another sister and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Mepham in Napa, Calif, and also visited at the home of Mrs. Joe Benedict and family in San Leandro, Calif. Over the 4th of July weekend they had the pleasure of attending a baseball game in San Francisco and saw the "Giants" in action. They returned home on July 12. and Mrs. Sargeant Timothy J. Saccomano of Mountain Home, Idaho are happy to announce the birth of a baby boy, born on July 8. The new baby weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. and has been named Justin Timothy. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Riche and Mr. and Mrs. Blackie comano, all of Helper. Sargeant Saccomano is stationed in Idaho with the U.S. Air Force. The new mother is the former Terri Lee Riche. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Perri Sr. of Spring Glen joined Mrs. Perri's sister and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Milan Corak, of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Robinson and their three children for a vacation trip to Lake Tahoe. They spent one week in a cabin at the lake, enjoying the beautiful scenery, as well as a private beach area. During this time, more family memSac- bers joined them. Dr. Richard Mitchell and wife, Mila, and their four children, from Monte Sereno, Calif, vacationed with them for a week. Mrs. Mitchell is another daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milan Corak. Together, they enoyed a performance of the Lawrence Welk show, and visited the famous Ponderosa Ranch. They also visited points of interest in Virginia City, Nev. before returning home on July 9th. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Babcock and son Gary from Dugway, Utah spent last weekend here visiting with family and friends. They visited at the home of Mrs. Eva Orton and family in the Castle Gate and with Mr. and Mrs. Grant Babcock and family, Helper. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gardner spent four days vacationing in Las Vegas, Nev. recently. They visited with their son, Keith and Doris Gardner and at the home of their grandson and his family, Mr. and Mrs. David Gardner. They especially enjoyed getting acquainted with the newest addition to the family, sub-divisi- another great-grandso- n. Michael.
