Participating in the program which recounted the history of our nation from its birth to present day histroy were Louise Peckham, Thelma Wilson, Hazel Cox, Mary Morrison, Alice Anderson, Vera Duffy, Rowena Boren, Wanda Johnson, Edith Sallas, Ivy Jouflas, Susan Moore, Ethel Binch, Viola Ori, and Ann Price in order of their appearance on the program. Songs by Mrs. Cox at various points in the program were "One Nation Under God, Shenandoah, Nellie Bly, Flag ,of the United States, My Own ., That's America and America to Me." Mrs. Jeanette McAlpine, dressed as Martha Washington, sang "This is My Country". She was accompanied by the Gladys Vignetto at the piano. The program was brought to a climax with all singing "God Bless America". Cherry tortes and other confections were served from tables decorated in a bicentennial theme. Worthy of mention was the colonial dress worn by Mrs. Johnson, it truly made her the belle of the day. Also lovely were the fashions worn by Mrs. Duffy which was a with wide puritan-styl- e collar and long white overall apron and a yellow dustcap, and that of Mrs. McAlpine, a style worn by Martha Washington in her well-know- TUESDAY NIGHT BRIDGE CLUB Members of the Tuesday Night Bridge Club met at the home of Margaret Reid on Tuesday February 10.
