It is allowed, and you can take out life insurance on someone else, but in order to do this it must be shown that you have an "insurable interest." This means you would suffer a serious financial, emotional or other loss from the death of the other person, and would need life insurance to compensate for that loss. A favorite uncle of mine died recently and left me a large sum of money. I'm planning to put all of it into investments, but I've been wondering if I should pay my life insurance premiums in full. Is this ever done? A. Yes. It can be done. In fact, many experts consider this to be an excellent idea if you have the funds to spare. If you do pre-payour premiums, you will save money to the extent that life insurance companies, depending on the individual company, discount the premiums. It would be wise, certainly, to check the tax considerations first. JoCasa (SouarainiGeecL now State Mill ROUND STEAK speculation. 17 !
