Kiwanis received a "Principal Award in the Americana General Category" for two of its program "Operation Law & Order," and "You and the Law both of which are aimed at uncovering the causes of crime and disorder, and working to alleviate those causes. The "Principal Award" is one of the highest accolades that Freedoms Foundation confers. This is the eighteenth consecutive year that Kiwanis has been hon ored by the Freedom Foundation. Kiwanis' two youth organizations were also honored by the group for 1967 efforts.
