His studying was carried on at the Manti school, lUtah State U, Snow College and at the BYU. Strange as it may seem, he majored in social studies and minor ed in science, archaeology, and geology. In his 24 years of teaching he has taught every grade from the sixth to the tenth in the Spring Du-bla- Uu M m subjects, in fact, he has taught vervthing excpt physical ed and cooking. Some of his hobbies are fish- - (what?) hunting ing, photo- graphy, rock collecting and electronics. In the summer he goes to the Army reserve in Yakima, Washington. From their literature books they read these very interesting and thrilling stories about horses, dogs, and cats. The students truly became acquainted with the habits and feelings of these animals. The class started a search for pictures of animals and within a few days th whole blackboard was covered with colorful pictures. Other students thought the board was very interesting and they enjoyed reading the stories. Not only was our class interested in the display but other classes found it Interesting as well. The students not only had the experience of writing their own original storie on animals but read their stories to the class.
