RICHARD Dl'KE MAIN STREET & VISITING CARBON HIGH All of the lUth grade students in caibon county visited Carbn High school last Thursday, April enter29, 1954. As the students ed the gymnasium they received small piece of colored paper which was different sizes and colors. The students were separated into groups after which Mrs. Bess Jones, the Dean of Women, and Mr. Merrill, Assistant Dean, each gave a talk welcoming the tenth graders. The Carbon students put on an assembly program for ns, after which eachi group and its guide went n a tour of the campus. The students then went on a dash f r the cafeteria. The buses left the high school at 12:00 for the various Junior High schools, and the students began their regular classes at one in the af-t- f rnoon.
