Show HELPER The JOOCNAL (Utah) PAGE EIGHT MAY THURSDAY, 21, 153 Sunrise Cafe Team SAFETY COUNCIL Wins Championship; Banquet Is Tonight SLATES MEETING The Sunrise Cafe team, League along with other Champions, teams in the Women's Industrial Bowling league will have their annual banquet tonight at the Kiva club in Helper at 8 p.m., at which time the winning team, its sponsor, Flank Lumbardie, and other members of the league who have done outstanding work on the waxed alleys will receive trophies, and award ins. The Sunrise girls did exceptionally well this year; winning the first half of play with 60 wins and 12 losses. They came through again in the second hajf winning 68 and losing 8, for a total of 12S wins against 20 losses. Along with each member of the winning team receiving a beautil'ii trophy, the following bowlers will also be honored: Dena Pierotti, high average, 155; Sei Aramaki, high game, 207; Helene Lewis, high series, 610.' pin awards will foe made to the following girls: Virgina HuntsNorjne man, Sophie Milovich, Zaccaria, Florence Safford, Cnloe Seroken and jane Diamanti, for maintaining average. Roland Taylor was a business visitor in Salt City over the week end. Miss Geraidine Johnson left Monday for a vacation at Idaho, where she will visit her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Devon Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Verdus Maganii visited their daughter. Verla, who is confined to a hospital jn Spanish Fork, she was injured in an e accident at park Saturday, suffering a compress, fracture of the back.
