Rotary clubs are for "men only" the theatre manager argued, altho they have their "Rotary Ann Nights' a few times a year. Many colleges are for young men or young women only! Even department stores sometimes conduct sale of cosmetics "for women only" and won't permit a man to buy them for his wife because they wish to show the woman how to apply the stuff and sell her something, too, Manager Milano added. "So why must someone raise a "howl" when a theatre has an attraction for segregated audiences? That is of course, as long as it's a clean, moral decent at- traction," asked the theatre manager. It is the policy of the Producers of the picture that it be shown to segregated audiences only. Thus there is nothing the manager can do about it except present it that way even if he wished to change it. That's not the point, however, he argues. The Producers have adopted this policy because they feel it proper, fitting and in good taste. It is due to the fact that there are two sequences of a medi cal nature In the production which deal with delicate hygiene subjects In a straight-forwar- d manner. "Now what's wrong with that?" demanded the manager on the subject. Churches segregate au lower Prices!
