Entry blanks may be obtained at the office of the Daughters of Utah Poneers at the state capitol in Salt Lake City. Girls entering the contest for the queen, who will preside over the main events of the Days of '47 celebration scheduled for July lfi to 24, must be between the ages of 18 and 25. Contestants in the princess division must be between the ages of 16 and 17. Any girl with poineer ancestors who came to Utah on or before May 10, 1869, is eligible to compete for the honors. A good photograph should accompany each The contest will close application. on July 4 and the judging will begin on'July 5 at the Hotel Utah. Every girl who enters the contest will be an attendant to the queen at the coronation on July 16 and at the pioneer pageant at the U stadium on the evenings of July 23 and 24.
