OF PENNEY STORE EAGERLY Litizzette at a California Vererans' hospital on May 12, Helper and the state of Utah lost one of its noblest and most lovable citizens. His was a life of service and love to his family, his community, his state and his nation. His place will be difficult to fill in any and every activity he had been engaged in. August, as he was familiarly known to everyone, was born of one of Helper's pioneer families; his entire life had been spent here building a better community. No man ever was a more devoted hus band and father; none ever performed his every day task more com prehensively and thoroughly; no fraternal or service group member ever lived more loyal than did August Litizzette. His bereaved daugh ter, sisters and brothers; his business associates; his fraternal broth era; his 'buddies and his great host of friends will long remember him for the man that he was. Therefore be it RESOLVED: That while we most humbly bow to the will of the Omni potent One, we feel most keenly the loss of so able a citizen at this time when our country can ill afford to lose one whose wise council in these troublesome times was so sought after and whose past experience as a defender of our country was so valuable at the present time. Therefore it further RESOLVED: That the Kiwanis Club of Helper extend its sympathies to the bereaved brothers and sisters, and especially so to the bereaved daughter and her husband in this their great loss in the passing of a kind and most loving father.
