Total assessment in 1937 will be as against $5,585,200 $5,498,489, last year, he said. One reason for the decided Increase this year was a $75,000 raise due to improvement and building of homes. There are also 274 more automobiles being operated this year, which increased the assessment $133,896. The report shows a decrease in irrigated land of 100fi acres. The report covers assessment of everything other than utilities. Assessment this year is as follows: City and town lots, irrigated farm land, $370,-02unimproved farm land, $38,-01fruit land, $6975. grazing land, $079, 209; all other real eso $808,-D37- CODE NUMBERS CODE NUMBERS 943- - A Port, Qt. -A 9A3 Port, Qts. 982 Muscatel, Qts.
