The program: vocal duets, "I Love You Truly" and "A Perfect Day", by Mae Martin and Catherine Larson accompanied by Mrs. Marshall. "The Biography of the Life of Carrie Jacobs Bond", was given by Rose Peterson. AT HOME Carbon Council Knights of Columbus celebrated Columbus Day with a banquet Thursday evening at the Notre Dame church hall at 6:30 at which a large gathering was present. The Rev. W. A. Ruel acted as toastmaster. Interesting talks were rendered by B. J. Vieta of Helper, state deputy; the Rev. Patrick Maguire of Murray and a moving picture was presented by the Rev. J. S. Keefe of Salt Lake, superintendent of diocesan schools which was taken while on his trip to Europe last summer. Vocal selections followed. After the banquet a Columbus dance was enjoyed at the Notre Dame school which brot the evening to a close. During the intermission the Rev. Patrick Maguire of Murray presented another moving picture of the installation of the Most Rev. James Kearney as bishop of the Salt Lake diocese which took place in November 1932.
