County Fair Sweetheart Might Be Ideal American Beauty If you had to give a description of the average American beauty with cold facts and figures, how would you show her? Well, here's the estimate of one of the land's top experts, who sees some of the best of them every day. He's John Robert Powers, big model agency man in New York City. Powers says she should be about five and a half feet tall, with brown hair, blue eyes, weight I25 pounds, 34 inch bust, 24 inch waist, 34 inch hip and a size five shoe. Why Mr. Powers worried about the shoe size we don't know. But it's nice to have his ideal gal for some comparing. The Salt Lake County Fair, which opens August 23rd, is earching for a Sweetheart to rule over the big show and buss the exhibitors ;md judges when the camera men drop in. Up to now the Lions club, which is conducting the hunt hasn't exactly been flooded with entries, but enough young cuties from the County have cropped up to give us something to work on for an average type. A pair of eager eyes and a glance at their entry cards received by Chairman Pete Harmon gives us enough information to come up with a pre·contest fore- l.e.,e•t-Prle~d ' Optional tm uJ/ mOdllifJ at r.\·tra ('OJI.
