Reporter. shop, were discharged December District Scouts Hold Annual Fete Sandy Children Await Annual Christmas Eve Boy Scout leaders of Mt Jordan district held their annual meeting and banquet Friday evening at Crescent under the direction of John Henscke, director. T he affair was held to celebrate the completion of re-registration of tbe scouts for 1946. · Preceding the banquet, scout skills were shown and various games were played. The banquet was under the supervision of Elmen Mickelsen. The tables were decorated in keeping with the season, with pine boughs and yule logs and red and green candles . .. which cast a soft glow over the room. During" the banquet quips were gtven by Wendell Vawdry and answered by those attending. During S anta's visit, Christmas carols wi ll be h eard over the city. The visit by Santa is an ann 'Ctal event sponsored by the Lions a nd Sandy City.
