This will be the first aerial squadron f..rom Mexico to enter combat as well as the first 1\-lexican air unit to finish training in the United States under lend-lease. They are sl:o\m in the air as well as on the ground, where they studied mechanical operation. Fires that may continue for weeks have been set on Luzon island. In the city of Manila, a large part of the city will be in ruins before the American forces can get the flames under control.
