Apparently the epidemic of letters has passed, and we can now get back to routine news reporting. A very interesting and timely .Poem appears on Page Three of this issue, composed by a Midvale lady. We are hoping that other contribution s of local poetry will come in, so that we may pass them on to our subscribers. Midva le 1st Ward Mr. and Mrs. George West ot 87 West Center street, received word from their son, Max, this week, who is stationed with the U. S. navy at Coco Solo, Canal Zone.
