In his six years of service, his teams have won five division championships. In district play they have annexed 38 out of 39 games. Their only league loss was a 6-0 defrat by Davis in 1937. The Darts went on to capture the state title. He has mentored two undisputed state champs. In '34 as assistant to Eddie Kimball, he helped toward a third. That same year, however, in his first year as head basketball coach, he led Jordan to her only state hoop crown. His record for non-league tilts includes thirteen wins, eight losses and two tie games. This includes a state title match with Carbon in 1938 which was lost 6-0.
