Relief society teachers are visiting all homes in the interest of the art booth. Committeemen will be out during the week soliciting for livestock. Further announcements will be made in next week's Ute Sentinel. The Genealogical class of the West Jordan ward with S. W. Bateman, chairman, and Mrs. Ingall, teacher, visited the Salt Lake Genealogical library i.n the 1-::terest of research work Wednesday evening of last week. Mr. and Mrs. s. W. Bateman, Mrs. Ingall, Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Bateman, Mr. and Mrs. D. LeRoy Bateman, Mr. and Mrs. Dell Smith, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Furse, Mrs. Marie Schmidt, Mrs. Carrie Stocking, Mrs. Stella Peterson, Mrs. Esther Leak and Mrs. Francis May, were among those who attended. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Dahl of Cedar Fort, visited with relatives in West Jordan during the week. On Wednesday of last WPek Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Christensen entertained at a showe"' in honor of their daughter, Melva, who was recently married. Refreshments were served to a large number of friends and relatives. The party was at the Christens ~ -. home. The Primary association offiCers and teachers served suppe- to the judges of election and their helpers on Tuesday evening. There were about 18 in number who enjoyed the lovely meal. A quilt made from remnants of the band suits by the band mothers was presented to Murray Lewis, band leader. The presentation was made by Mrs. Carlquist.
