After welcoming them, Mayor L. E. Peterson and the council gave ·over the meeting to the pupils. The class elecetd their officials with Nystrom as Mayor, and conducted the meeting for the evening. The following new books have been purchased for the library: "One Hundred '1\fjllion GUinea Pigs," Kallet & Schlich; 1 'Work.s About "All of Connan Doyle," Jane," Wynne; "Anitra•s Dance," Hurst; "Work of Art," Lewis; "The Native's Return,'' Adams. Twelve used books of popular fiction have been purchased, and the American Legion Auxiliary has donated twenty books recently.
