Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Clayton and children motored to Payson, Sunday, where Mr. Clayton sang a solo at the , funeral services of Albert Powell, of the Nebo stake presidenc y. Mr. and Mrs. T. F. They also viisted at Manti before returning home Thursday . Sacramen t meeting Sunday evening was devoted to commemo rate the Pioneer holiday, July 24. John A. Mr. and Mrs. James Brady had as their guests Sunuay evening, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Buxton. Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Buxton, Mr a.nd Mrs. Warren Kamp and Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Severson and children of Murray visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. James Brady. M. I. A. officers and Gleaner girl~ entertaine d Tuesday evening at the home of Miss Susie Brady on Social avenue, honoring Mrs. Delsa Chri!l· tensen McCleery of Murray. Games were played, prizes going to Mrs. Earl Evans, Miss Ruth Taylor and Miss Phyllis Larson. Dainty refreshments were served. Those enjoying .. the evening were the honored guest and her mother, Mrs. Chris Christensen, and sister, Marvene; Mrs. Clyde Soffe, Mrs. Earl Evans, Mrs. W. R. Mrs. McCleery was presented with a beautiful bedroom lamp. Mrs. I. Norris of Sandy visited Sunday with Mrs. Leonard Sharp. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Walker and children visited Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Ren Sharp of Welby. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cutler and baby of Salt Lake were dinner guests Sunday at the home of S. W. Sharp. Don Jacobs of Sugar City, Idaho, is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Ashment. Mr. and Mrs. I. Bushnell spent the week-end on the Strawber ry. They report fishing as being good. James Nielson left Monday for San Diego, after a furlough of 30 days, which has been spent with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Niels Nielson, relatives and friends. Mr. Nielson is in training at San Diego. Charles Sharp, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bradford and baby, Duane, visited Tuesday evening with Mrs. Bruce Harman of Murray at a local hospital. Mrs. Harman is recoverin g from an operation . Mrs. Sarah Bennett visited Tuesday with Mrs. Semiria Goff. Miss Marian Ashment and Miss Isabelle Nelson are visiting in Parley's canyon for two weeks, guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Berry. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Ashment had as their house guest last week Mrs. H. H. Peterson of Ogden. UNION Mrs. Ben Price of Bingham is spending this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Anderson . Miss Marjory Anderson , Miss Lorna Forbush, Grant Woolton and Reid Alder motored to Brighton Sunday, following dinner at the home of Miss Forbush. Miss Marie Price of Union and Wayne Tanner of Cottonwo od were married Wednesda y. They left immediately for California , where they expect to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. George Wright and children, of Bingham, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Gregory. The "All-Arou nd" club met Thursday evening of last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Forbush. Games were played and a weinie roast was enjoyed. Those enjoying the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Forbush, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Berrett, Mr. and Mrs. M. Price, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Colliger, Mr. and Mrs. Verne Tanner, Mr. and Mrs. Eph Dridge, and Mr. and Mrs. Lou Colebrook . Alfred Green, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Beckstea d and family, and Mrs. Henry Terry and children motored to Yellowsto ne park last week.
