Brady at Murray last Friday evening to celebrate the marriage of Miss Hazel Brady \ f Union and Mr. George R. Butterfield of Riverton. Bishop Horace Godfrey of Union performed the ceremony. Luncheon was served to the following guests, following the wedding ceremony: Mrs. Flora Walker, Mrs. Naomi Ellis, Mrs. S. N. Butterfield, Bishop and Mrs. Horace Godfrey, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Brady, Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Debenham, Mr. and Mrs. V. R. Nicholson, Miss Esther Horne, Mr. W. E. Butterfield, Mr. Cruze Brown, Miss Velma Brady, Miss Ellen Brady and Mrs. Powell. Games were enjoyed the remainder of the evening. About midnight, several of the younger set started out to notify the community of the great event and created considerable commotion. Fitzpatrick, vice president and general manager. who stated preparations are rapidly being made for the arrival of natural gas here. The appointment is effective April 1st and fills the position formerly held by C. L. Bougher. Mr. Stover has had wide experience in the natural gas industry having been associated with the Lone Star Gas company of Dallas, Texas, for the past t:en years. He has been indentified in various branches of field activity as well as the sales and advertising departments of the natural gas industry, which fits him for the position which he now holds. During the past few years, Mr. Stover has been engaged in organization and ~ales promotion of the Community Gas company of Texaa. This company, which is one of the Lone Star Gas company group, has had phenomenal growth during the past few years, and now serves natural gas to 220 Texas and Oklahoma towns. The sales and applian~es departments have been enlarged under Mr. Stover's direction in anticipation of the heavy demands resulting from the introduction of natural gas into the Salt Lake valley this fall. A staff of house-heating and technical engineers are available under Mr. Stover's direction to help wit.h heating problems encountered m the homes and industry.
