Following a business session, sandwiches were served at the U. S. cafe. Mrs. H . E . Phelps was a guest of Mrs. Frank Hart of Salt Lake, Friday afternoon. Monday afternoon Mrs. J. W. Johnson was hostess to members of the club to which she belongs. Refreshments were served following bridge. Mrs. Jack Larson, accompanied by Mrs. Eva B. Lewis, motored to Fountain Green and spent the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Livingston. Mrs. Curti!! Booth was hostess to members of her club Tuesday evening at her home on Smelter street. Bridge was played and high scores were won by Mrs. Frank Porter and Mrs. Drown. Mrs. George A. Wright was hostess to members of her card club Thursday evening. The entertainment was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Deming on South Main street. The guests from out of town were Miss Gretchen Horst and Miss Van Johnstone of Salt Lake, Mrs. N. F. Madsen, Mrs. L. W. Nielsen of Sandy and Miss Laura Gardner of West Jordan. HALLOWE'EN FROLIC Mr. and Mrs. Everett Reading entertained a number of friends at an interesting and well arranged Hallowe'en party last Saturday evening at their home on Allen street.
