A late supper was served to Mr. and Mrs. Dell Holt, Mr. and Mrs. Urban McMullin, Mrs. Ivy Wardle, Miss Reola Holt, Leo Newbold, Miss Catherine Beckstead, Miss Marinda Beckstead and Byrum Holt of South Jordan, Orval Dimond of West Jordan, Ray Nielsen and Ellen Egbert of Salt Lake. James W. Dansie, William E. Nel- son and Frank Roberts spent the week-end at Fish Lake. Mrs. Hattie Freeman returned borne Friday after spending three weeks at Nephi at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Duke Page. Mrs. Joseph Newman was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Yates of Salt Lake for the week-end. Mrs. Thomas P. Page visited during the week at the home of her sister, Mrs. Emma Gatherum, at Holladay. Mr. and Mrs. Meredith Page and children, Miss Jennie May, Miss Ruby Stone and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Stone formed a party Thursday and enjoyed a weinie roast up Butterfield canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Olson of Burley, Idaho, and Mrs. George Marsh of Salt Lake were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Tischner, Tuesday, where they spent the evening. Mrs. Orin Crump and baby returned home Saturday, after spending eleven days at a Salt Lake hospital. Mrs. Lonzo Madsen and daughter, Farrell, visited during the week at Magna. Mrs. AI[. J. Tischner was the guest of Mrs. Mary Miller and daughter of Plain City for three days during the week. Mrs. James Broadbent, Mrs. Mahonri Butterfield and Mrs. Wayne Tischner were hostesses to the members of the M. M. M. club, at the home of Mrs. Broadbent, Friday. Mrs. Charles Bradford and son, Kenneth, spent the week-end as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson at Ioka. Mrs. William Nelson and Mrs. Frank Roberts spent the week-end in Salt Lake as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Dorton. Mrs. Emma Holt is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Stocking for several weeks. The marriage of Ross Beckstead, son of Mrs. Myrtle Beckstead, to Lucy Rawlins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lon Rawlins of Bingham, has been announced. The young couple will make their home in Bingham. Mrs. Hans Nielson attended a birthday dinner party in Salt Lake, Thursday, given in honor of Mrs. 1 Thomas B. Slater. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Hansen spent Saturday at the fair. Mrs. Rulon Nickoles of· American Fork was a dinner guest at the Hansen home, Sunday. Mrs. Mary A. Beckstead is spending a week with her daughter, Mrs. Bert Rindlisbach , on Bingham highway. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Beckstead and little daughter, Lois, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Wayman at Holladay, Sunday. Ray Beckstead has had a call for a short term mission, to leave in the near future. Emri and Theron Hutching-s have left for Provo, where they will attend the B. Y. U. this winter.
