Show Thurs day, Augus t 20, 1931 SOUTH JORDAN THE 1\IIDVALE JOUR NAL vegetable salad for the following day. Store the vegetable s in separate covered container s--we find covered mayonnai se jars excellen t-in your electric refrigerat or. One of our favorite dressings for a vegetable salad is mayonnai se mixed with chili sauce. We do not find it necessary to use any French dressing when we use that mixture. Here are a few good vegetable dinner combinati ons. We have listed them ~o that the protein vegetable comes first, the starch second and the leafy third. This will make it easy for you to switch vegetable s from one group to the other and to substitute at will. 1126 Cole, H.
