Show 7 Hilltop Times May 13. 2004 Utah State offers new bachelor's degree program The Utah State University, Ogden Center, will offer new bachelor's degree for people with military experience. The new degree program, a bachelor of science in technology and industrial education with emphasis in trade and technical education, will be discussed in detail during an open meeting May 25 from p.m. in the base's Education Office, Bldg. 383. According to USU, this degree is approved by the Veterans Administration and has been approved by the Utah State Office of Education. Federal monies for scholarships may be available to individuals under the Troops to Teachers" program. Program graduates will receive a level-on- e 5-- license to teach applied technology and industrial technical education classes in Utah junior high and high schools. Graduates will also have a competitive edge to teach in applied technology colleges, Job Corps, etc. Many other states will recognize this degree, according to USU.
