There will be a shotgun start at 8 a.m. and noon. The format will be a scramble. The entry fee is $32 per person which includes green fees, half of a golf cart, lunch and prizes. All organizations are invited to participate. The cost is $30 per bowler. Every league player receives a weekly bowling lesson; league membership card; three lines of bowling every week; a bowling towel; open bowling specials; and a chance to win bowling balls, bags, and savings bonds. Outdoor Recreation volunteers needed Individuals interested in becoming Outdoor Recreation volunteers can attend an informational meeting July 8, 4:30 p.m., at the Equipment Checkout Center, Bldg. 402. Anyone planning on attending should call before July 7. All volunteers will be trained in the areas they wish to participate in. Volunteers must be at least age 18, possess a valid driver's license and must get a physical examination. Other qualifications may apply for certain positions. Volunteers to serve as instructors are also needed. There will be free pizza and beverages at the meeting.
