Hill AFB does not have an adequate number of quarters to house Air Force members. All categories of housing lists have long waiting one as long as two and one-hal- f times years. I've been told a regulation states the temporary portion has to be torn down. If this is truer shouldn't the regulation be changed? There are currently no plans to tear down y A the temporary facility at the Child Development Center. The hospital requested to utilize the facility for office space once the new addition is completed. Morale, Welfare, Recreation and Services is not authorized to keep the temporary facility, as it would cause the center to exceed the maximum number of children, 301, that can be cared for in a center. However, the good news is the family home day care program has been expanded to accommodate the existing demand for child care. I appreciate your concern for child care and assure you we'll continue to provide facilities that give our children the greatest environment for success. te I'm sorry for your frustration with the 1 w ' base phone system information line.
