Others have distinguished themselves through dedicated service or - nt. Annie Cochran has watched 50 years of history pass all as a government employee. Tuesday she was presented her service pin by Ogden Air commander Center Logistics Maj. Gen. Dale W. and a letter from the Secretary of the Air Thompson Force, Donald B. Rice. ' Ms. Cochran began her federal service Oct. 26, 1940, with the U.S. Selective Service in Farmington. After numerous positions with the Army at Fort Douglas and then at the Utah General Depot in Ogden, she transferred to Hill AFB. She began in Bldg. 100 as a steno-clerin the Missiles Division. Additionally, the airman is the project monitor for the base's conversion to the 911 emergency system. He has coordinated with the local phone company, the base fire department and the inside plant work center to ensure the conversion was. made smoothly. Airman Eygnor's efforts have contributed greatly to improving base telephone services. He has spent many hours of his own time to improve his skills and knowledge. Airman Eygnor was born and raised in San Bernardino, Calif.
