According to Tom Dunroe, chief of the civilian personnel office's affirmative employment unit, "We handle almost 500 personnel actions each month. Shift workers can request a printout of their records by calling Ext. 75506. A recorded job line tells all Hill employees about new or open vacancy announcements. People should call Ext. 76487 to find information about current announcements. This year's directory, which was due out in July, is finally on base. Mrs. Kynaston said a few gremlins held up the printing of this year's book. "The various appraisal elements in your job are considered on the computer roster. In the case of two or more employees coming up with the same appraisal and award points, the service computation date is used to break the similar ranking," Mr. Dunroe said.
