Bowlers will find special prices during August. Tuesdays are for Moonlight bowling. Price is $2 for three games and bowling is in the dark. Wednesday Pin bowling. Get night is a free game each time a bowler d strikes with a pin. Only 50 cents a game. A bowling meeting will be held Aug. 17, 1 p.m. at the base library. A football meeting will be held Aug. 24, 1 p.m. at the library, Bldg. 440. walkrun DDO tool (soSeC!), The 10th annual Defense Depot Ogden, Utah, RunWalk has been slated Aug. 13 at the Depot, 500 West 12th Street. The run is a certified 8K run and part of the Ogden Grand Prix Series. It will start at 9 a.m., registration will be before the race at the fire station at the north end of the administration building. Cost is $7, which includes a Age group competition will be divided among the participants, medals given to age group winners. Garbett and Peggy Noaeill as athletes of the year. Because of active participation the two sportsters will represent Hill during Air Force Logistics Command competition this month. "These two are well deserving of the award and stand a good chance to be chosen at AFLC," said Jim Powell, varsity sports director." Richard W. Garbett is a volleyball guru. He coached the base varsity team that took third in the Clearfield, Utah, City League and second in the Utah Summer games. His team finished first in regional competition. "It is neat. It is completely unexpected," said Garbett. "It is a great honor to represent the base. Peggy is an excellent example of an Air Force athlete. She is a hard worker." Garbett served as coach of the Air Force women's volleyball team, a team that finished third internationally. In 1987, his Air Force team won the gold medal, giving them their best ever ranking (22nd nationally). His skill on the court has spilled to the high school level as well as to foriegn countries. He conducted a three-dacamp for several Idaho schools. He narrated a television video for each foriegn team that participated in the CISM matches held in J AFLC athletic competitor C7 TK2 17833?
