She was swinging swing-ing on a rope, fell off and broke her arm. Following this Glendu Poulsen fell off a porch and dislocated dis-located her elbow. Both girls, who are cousins, have their arms in casts. IMr. and iMrs. R. G. Poulsen left Thursday night for a week's fishing enjoyment at Fish Lake. They plan to camp near friends, Dick Houghton, Bob Covington and Don Throckmorton. The Ben McAllister family packed bag and baggage and will leave troubles behind as they motor to Fish Lake for several days outing. Ccpperton Primary Guide Patrol Pa-trol participated in an exciting overnight camping trip at Tanner's Tan-ner's Flat with Leader Eva May McAllister. Gary Gough and Brent Scroggin and Mrs. McAllister McAl-lister returned Wednesday after the journey. Copperton Ward Primary officers of-ficers and teachers treated the membership of children to a party held at Ccpperton park on Wednesday, June 4. Copperton residents were sorry sor-ry to learn' of tlhe recent tragedy experienced by Mr. and Mrs. Pete Baros which resulted in the Jio&pitalization of Mr. Baros. The Baros' were enroute to the Glen Canyon Dam project where Mr. Baros had obtained employment when the accident occurred. A dip in the road and gusty winds caused their recently purchased trailer house to sway and overturn over-turn as did the truck in which Mr. Baros was riding. Mrs. Baros is in Flagstaff, Ariz., to be near her husband when Ihe undergoes surgery in the near future. Mrs. Bruce Christensen of Kearns entertained at a birthday dinner at her home for Angus Christensen recently. Other guests present were Mrs. Anus Christensen and son, Kent, Bruce Christensen, and Mrs. Alice Birk and son, Blaine. |
