Every apriegtime ia a reaurrection for nature. The oold of winter haa held all life in treea and graaa and flowers in a prison like a grave. The sunshine and the beat of apring will break these prison doors and the prisunera will be set free. It is not th treea that break the prison; the heat does not 00m from the grass or the flowers, the light doea not oome ton tha traes; the new life oouea from without, not from within. But from within the new help waa anticipated. Nature does not GIVE CP IX DESPAIR when winter cornea, and the prison doors of ics and anow are closed. The birda go to warmer climes, but they plan to return. Beneath the snow the crocuses are trying to grow and to bloom to show their faith in the coming of spring. What a lesson of faith for those who have met with reverses of fortune! The (Treat world outside does not want aoy man to faiL There is, in business, in society, in politics in every line of eartulj ambition and endeavor, an enemy, and a destroying angel There are jealousies, there is envy, there is selfishness, and there is revenge. These are destroying forces; and every man must expect to contend against these, in whatever way he attempts to gain his successes in life. But, except these destroying forces, the world wants tt bring to yoa talaT. J. JJaiixt, rasior. Ocdex. Uuh. March US, Ift'L A. five ruisr sews. Strangers should visit Five Points be-far leaving the city. C P. Blake returned from Salt Lake City yesterday. J. G. Two very young ladies called at the residence of Ezra Chase, one of the popular kmsorial artists, yesterday morning and demanded protection. It was given and they are bow trying to cau nun papa. Five Points will soon be informed of an enterprise that will spread ao agreea ble astonishment throughout mis ueau- tiful suburb. Steady the nerves and look out for the upshot Mr. A. J. Cropsey has in the past few months had over sixty bonses con structed on his various additions, which has had a wonderful effect in the building up and prosperity of this beautiful suburb. Rricrham Vounff nronheeied at one time that the place where Five Points now is would be the center or a urge city. There will be Sabbath school at 2:30 ana preaching uy mrs. la. al. EVERT UAH TO SUCCEED. And. as nature tries to restore that which is in danger of being lost, so the world tries to help those who nave onoe fa led. to a new trial for suoceas. You have seen sometimes, in winter, the trees covered with snow or ice. As the sunshine elistens on them they are beau tiful. The snow sparkles like diamonds. It seems as if nature were outdoing her self in a new display of beauty. But, after alL this is not the natural beauty of the trees. Nature puts on this clothing of beauty, but it is not natural to the trees. By and by when the snow and ice are gone the trees well clothe themselves with their own beauty of leaves and blossoms, and later of fruit. The world sometimes clothes individ uals with an unnatural clothinjr. It may be beautiful It may show the kindly disposition of the world, or intimate what beauty there may be in unusual combinations. But it is not natural. It does not seem to the world natural, even though the world may admire and praise the beautv. But when one has clothed himself with the beauty and helpfulness of his own life, no one would suggest ex changing that beauty for anything the world outside can "put on" to take the nlace of that n hich has "grown out' from the soul and developed by one's own energies. thixgs "put on" are not life the best of every life is that which grows as the natural product of that life. Pew people are always free from the effects of the cold of the world in which they live. At some time one finds himself in the darkness, or shiver ing from the touch of the "cold world." One may know that such conditions, though incident to every life, are not normal, they ought not to be of long con tinuance. The birds do not plan their nests, nor seek a place to put them in the winter. They wait for the joy and hope fulness of the spring. The trees do not trv to bud when the snow hugs the soil in which their roots take hold. If they are tempted by some early sunshine to begin to bud, their unusual or unnatural haste may rob them of the fruit thev micrht have borne had they not hastened the budding before the frosts had gone. No one ought to make plans for life when shivering from theg cola or the wona aoout mm, or conienu-inwith "the blues" which makes all the world as night Our lives ought not to be planned for the PRISON cv courage, accept in vorbi which t.i mt aul better 1J Look up, WflL Tint U tfc time; and rellftoua people are thinking anil 'talking about a life, and planning to celebrate in aoma way tbe gloriou fact that on tie ruiaa of the grave may be found a Ufa mora beautiful and nailed than that which Death robbed the world and ita victim. But th;a new Ufa of which re llgioua people talk ao much haa aorne thing of a counterpart in the world out- to Lie LIFE OF WINTER, but for the growing time of summer. Life cannot be large in its prison house. But faith in the plan for human development ought to enable one to maintain hope in himself and the world until the winter ends, and the night passes, and the world appears in life and light and beauty. Let hope never despair, give direction to every plan of life. In nature nothing dies, except by accident, until by its own effort it has provided for the reproduction of its kind. The tree, the flower, must leave in the world a seed from which another tree will grow. And so the world expects of every individual that he will leave the world richer than he finds it No one is doing his full largest privileges duty, or enjoying his who does not give to the world a little more than he requires of the world. If misfortune leaves one a burden to other's either for a short time, or for life, such a condition is regarded a calamity. But the worst of all calamities is a WILLING WASTE OF ENERGIES or an unnatural contentment which clings to the winter when the world is in its June. The world is chilled by the chilnees of those who bring December air to the blossoms of spring and the fruits of summer. Eirth brings its spring time, and its new life to every home and every heart There is recovery from every disaster, ia hone the other side of every " failure. If death does not end all, if liora is life bevond the crave, much more does not misfortune end the hopes nhifh had been bright before the mis- fnrtnnfi came, and which others have seeD revue after the worst of reverses. li Has Been Incorporated cr Brk Sprics A ana 02- - Cho&. - Late Ccbtais d jee up Lat new on at the iAiiES iTii L.nsDr, Tweet trrt,r LeJ liJUl 1 r.paoij lTi Important Notice.
