Because military are invited to participate in nearly all civilian recreation sponsored activities, there is no need to segregate the distribution of A for a reorganization, supposedly effective around the first of this year. We have not received any official word on this and there seems to be a great deal of confusion concerning it. Is it official or not? did reorganize effective Jan. 1, 1986. date the reorganization consists of two things: (1) The 1881st Communications Squad-rois now part of the SI (formerly LM) organization and aligns to the SI Directorate Chief; (2) A change in LM office symbols from LM to SI including all internal organizations. In December 1985, we attempted to publish the changes in the Daily Bulletin, but the changes had not been approvedcoordinated through all appropriate offices, even though the changes were directed by Headquarters Air Force Logistics Command. The available copy disappeared and has now been replaced. The customer service supervisor has also made arrangements to obtain extra copies for the BX. These copies will be available within a month. ALM People are our biggest asset and their productivity is directly related to their morale; therefore, it is important that all employees be provided information on available leisure time activities. It is intended that activity flyers be placed on all information bulletin boards. If more flyers are sent to your section than you need for your supervisors and bulletin boards, please feel free to contact DAPD, Steve Barre, Ext. 75357 to update your card file. n Kudos for blood donors Betty Barton and Sgt. Terry Baird of the Directorate of Materiel Management each deserve a grand plaudit for their efforts in organizing a blood drive to replace 150 units of blood required by one of our fellow employees. The response was overwhelming with 123 Hill AFB employees participating. Ms. Barton and Sergeant Baird offer their sincere thanks to all those who supported them in this effort. Don Starnes, Safety Office, also adds his personal thanks to all you caring people who so willingly gave of yourself to help him.
