The Hill Bowling Center is now taking applications for winter bowling leagues-you- th, women's and mixed adults. Whether military or civilian, all are encouraged to participate. Also, if any Hill AFB organizations wish to organize and register a league or have individuals who want to join leagues, cr.Il the bowling center. Ext. for flag football Officials in Morale, Welfare and Recreation are presently organizing this year's fall civilian flag football league and have stated that as a coach or player, participants will be involved in one of Hill's most popular sports. As with any activity, the season begins with registration and applications are available now at the Civilian Recreation Center. Bldg. 564. Play will begin Sept. 9. Entries are due Aug. 30 at the Civilian Recreation Center and a coach or manager meeting is scheduled Sept. 5 at the center. By-lahandouts will be provided to the coaches of each team. Subjects covered will include protests, playing time, first downs, team composition, blocking, tackling, passing, running, play ends, scoring, penalties, kicking and " general rules. Games will be played Tuesdays and Thursdays.
