Leo Bendele, planning unit chief in the Aircraft Division, said the new outer wings will extend the service life to more than 40,000 flying hours. Mr. DeHoyos said the modification would be acC-1- 30 complished top-mount- ed the aircraft's normal during programmed depot maintenance cycle with no additional workdays.
