Minersvillc was unable to score for the next three innings. Jessee McDermott's hit to left field was good for two bases. With an infield hit by Josh Long and a center field hit by Sullivan, Milford took a solid 2 lead in the second. Michael Davis scored in the third. With two outs in the fourth, Wiseman on 2nd and Davis on 1st, McDermott drove the ball into left field. At the bottom of the fourth it was 9-- 2 for Milford. Minersville rallied in the top of the fifth. Sheb Davie and McMullan both took a walk. Brandon Wiseman brought them hit to left home with a field. Not to be outdone, Craig Thompson, Milford, hit deep to center field to bring home team mates Sullivan and Florence. MUford-1- 1, Minersville -- 4. With three runs to their credit in the top of the sixth and one in the seventh, Minersville held Milford for the remainder of the game. Final score: Milford 11- - Minersville 8.
