The play takes a breif hard look at a teenager caught up in the life uf drug and alcohol abuse. Auditions for the play were held Sept 27, 28 at Dixie High School. Southwest Utah Mental Health Alcohol and Drug Center decided several communities might be unable to produce this play locally, primarily of the cost and time Involved with the production, therefore, a committment was made to produce the show In St. George and provide funding to take the show and cast on the road to other area communities and schools, said a MxAesperson. The production was developed into two versions, a shorter version for school assemblies and a longer version for evening shows. The play "it's My Lffe" centers on a rebellious teenager who claims "it's m life"' and drinking, drugs, and whatever periphery slease and ir'noral!ty surfaces along the way effects ti.nly one particular youth.
