She as in there Toili Obituary a Thursday the possible effects of the initia tives will mean their jobs. Each government agency Administrator is doing the same thing, the knowing that by hitting below more belt, they are going to be effective. Some school teachers are indoctrinating the impressionable minds of children, and sending notes home to parents, implying that the tax initiatives will affect their chllds education. The education community UEA has repeatedly used the youth as a club to bring the parents Into line. "If you love your children vote for more taxes." Their motive of course has been for more salary Increases for themselves. When ever money is concerned, honesty, Integrity and fair play goes out the window. Hopefully the voters will consider these tactics by all of the Government entities as false propaganda, when they go to the ballot box on Nov. 8th, and vote YES on the peoples tax initiatives. The Legislature will be responsible for implementing and stipulating any effects of the initiatives on any government programs. I am positive that they will not allow the education of children to be hurt in any Dear Editor; Too much education is dangerous, Have you ever believed that before? Did you think that would ever be the case? It has happened, and is happening here in our State now with the tax initiatives issue. The public is being manipulated and controlled to hear only the scare tactic propaganda of the spec ial Interest side of the issue. We are not being allowed to hear or read the truth about what the peoples tax initiatives are all about. The news media is supposed to be a source of information and enlightenment for the public on the issues. Only In communist countries Is the public forced to accept the government point of view as being the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We are being deluged with the government agencies scare tactic propaganda, and the only resource for the citi2en taxpayer point of view is being restricted and withheld. State PTA President Darlene Gub-lmade a statement in the Salt Lake Tribune recently, to the effect that if the tax initiatives pass, we will see communism come to Utah. There have been a lot of ridiculous statements made by the the opponents to the initiatives, but that is just about the most stupid, of all. I was a PTA President for two years myself, and she is violating the PTA charter Article 4 sections B & C, when she encourages PTA leaders all over the State to become personally Involved In holding closed meetings for the presentation of only one side of a political issue, that is on the ballot for a vote of the people. Now who is fostering and promoting communistic and dictatorial philosophy, principles and practices? Our elected School Boards are holding public meetings proclaiming one side of the tax initiative issue, and not allowing equal time for the 'leoples tax initiative presentation.
