The tourney is set for July 13-with games to be played at 4:00 p.m. and at 6:00 p.m. The teams who will be participating are Milford, Beaver, Delta and Lincoln Couhty. So far, 26 of the 45 evening performances are completely soldout. In fact, only two dates for the play Much Ado About Nothing" still have seating available. According to Fern Hunter, box office co -- manager, the festival has sold roughly 75 percent of its tickets for evening performances. "Last year we sold about 99 percent of our tickets. Attorney Leo Kanell reported that the legal dispute with Valley En- - three dogs at a time can be transported to the Cedar City pound. They will be held for five days before being destroyed by the pound. The dog owner's will be charged for all costs Incurred. If the owner can not be determined, the city will cover the expense through the funds collected for licenses. The dog catcher will be working eight hours a month at different Intervals. City Foreman Baxter reported that Skip Briscoe has checked the floats In the high tank, Baxter would like Briscoe compensated for his time. With regard to the procedure on insurance premiums, Councilman Wayne Wiseman made a motion that the city pay full benefits, (if the want the inemployee does not reimbursement to that surance), employee will be for a single person premium only. Councilman Davis explained that the full insurance for families andor couples has been paid for the employees for sometime and was started In lieu of a salary increase. If the employee has a family he wants insured through the city, they will cover the entire expense, if the employee does not need or want insurance the city will rebate the amount of a single person's Insurance to that employee. Councilman Romine, Davis and Mayer voted for the motion with Councilman Mark Whitney voting against. The motion passed by a majority vote. Mayor Mayer expressed his disapproval in his opinion it was unfair to the single person to receive less benefit than those with families. Councilman Mark Whitney suggested the city have the computer programmed to better suit the city's needs. He will pursue, the auditor will be consulted before any changes are made. Councilman Wiseman asked that a letter of appreciation be written to Chris Carter for his excellent care of the Milford Historical Park ground. Chris has maintained the grounds for several years without compensation. Councilman Romine reported that UP&L Is upset over the railroad removing the spur into the industrial park. Milford would be in the downwind flow from the site and could possibly jeopardize our water. Councilman Davis asked that the fire station lot be cleaned-u- p.
