I have worked full time for Beaver County as their Assessor for twelve years. to the job. The AsI pledge to keep It a full time joolf lam sessor's job Is different from the other jobs as It requires almost as much time out of the office as It does in. The law reads that the Assessor will visit and Inspect every piece of property in the County each and every year in order to do his assessing. I have Increased the personal property taxes In Beaver County enough to almost pay n7 wages every year since being elected by picking up transit livestock, drilling rigs and construction equipment which are transit personal property. The transit tax dollars help by keeping the local assessed tax dollars down. As far as being a registered Assessor the word is Certified. As of this date, I am .not Certified, but, I have completed three of the four courses which It takes to become Certified. I have a few Assessor friends from other counties that are Certified, who cannot assess apiece of property with their Certification without the State Tax Commission's approval. I can do the same assessing they do, but, I also have to have the State Tax Commission's approval. Therefore, I feel there is not that much advantage to being Certified, other than I could do "lie appraisals" which I feel art not a public officials Job. I started the vehicle registration by mail for Beaver County which Is a real asset to the people In the west side of the county. I take care of the boat, off -- highway and snowmobile registrations for the Division of Parks and Recreation, which I feel Is a real asset to the people of Beaver County, and which otherwise would have to be done out of Salt Lake City t-li-oi 307-245- 7 lt&rcLfctTrcp Thank You, Max Limb Beaver County Assessor Fights the high cost of heating by filtering and recycling warm dryer air.
