Smedley, administrative officer in the accounting and finance branch here, was one of four people nominated to represent Air Force Logistics Command in the annual Outstanding Administration and Executive Support Awards Program. The awards are made annually to acknowledge and encourage outstanding performance and significant contributions to the Air Force Administration Program. Winners receive a certificate signed by the Air Force Chief of Staff, and an engraved plaque. Mrs. Smedley was nominated for Outstanding Executive Support Officer. She is credited with maintaining a high level of accuracy in an extremely complicated Coinroinnisiinidl and having outstanding administrative capabilities. Active duty report, officers through the grade of captain and civilians through grade GS-1-2 or equivalent are eligible for this award. Rachel C. Wooden, a management analyst in the publications branch of the 2853rd Air Base Group, Robins AFB, Ga., was nominated for the Outstanding Air Force Administration Officer. She is credited with updating master publications library and publications, and forms management section while reducing the paperwork load.
