Bruce Champion followed Graham's hit with a double. Then with two runners on base Scott Clements tripled. Bert Clearwater followed with a base hit, scoring Clements. Before the dust settled the team had a 2 lead after two innings of play. Bruce Champion led the team with three hits. Players finishing the game with two hits included Scott Clements, Rich Jodway, Rick Cross, and Ken Snoy. The team has two crucial games this week. On Saturday at 4 p.m. the team plays Public Affairs. This game will be played at Ben Lomond, located at 9th and Harrison. Next Tuesday at 6 p.m. the team plays the current league leaders, Ogden Aces, at West Ogden Ball Park. To get there, take 24th Street and turn south on "A" Street, located near the 24th Street viaduct. By Ron Posey, Team Coach After a shaky first inning, the Hill AFB baseball team settled down to defeat Ogden Lawn and Garden 15-- 4 in league play last Saturday. A combination of aggressive base running, timely hitting and superb pitching enabled the base team to win its fourth game with only one defeat. On eight occasions the team was able to steal second base and each time a timely hit followed that produced a run for them. Tony Kolic went to the mound for his first start of the season and after a shaky first inning, settled down, throwing a two-hittthan included 10 strikeouts.
