Kelly who retired the end of October. CMSgt. James H. Jones comes to the 388th after serving as the Executive Officer to the commander, United States Security Service, Kelly AFB, Tex. As Senior Enlisted Advisor, Chief Jones keeps the wing commander apprised of all matters affecting health, morale, and welfare of assigned enlisted personnel of the 388th TFW. During duty hours Chief Jones can be reached at ext. 3654 or 3713; during non-dut- y hours, his phone number can be obtained from the Hill Command Post. Chief Jones was born June 12, 1931, in Kingsport, Tenn. Following graduation from Sullivan County High School in 1951, he attended Florida State University, Central Michigan University, and the University of Maryland, from 1961 to 1972, majoring in history and political science. He returned to the United States in January 1954, and was assigned to Base Flight, 19th Bomb Wing, Pinecastle AFB, Fla. MAJOR ABBOTT entered the Thomas M. Cooley Law School at Lansing, Mich., through the AFIT program, in attained the J.D. degree, prior to his September 1975-anassignment to Hill. AFB. The major, a native of Deckerville, Mich., is married to the former Shirley Ann Bunch of North Garden, Va. has passed the Michigan Bar examination and will be sworn in as an attorney in the State of Michigan in the near future.
