Decker of the Missile Division, Directorate of Maintenance (MA), retired recently with an accumulated service time in excess of 42 years. MR. DECKER is a native of Reading, Pa. He served 20 years with the military, retiring in 1955. During this period, he served overseas in Hawaii, the Philippines and Korea. When Olmstead was phased out in August 1965, Mr. Decker transferred to Hill AFB. hole-in-o- ne HIS ELECTRONICS experience will be a great asset in another of his hobbies, amateur radio. f '; h A i MR. LOTITO BEGAN his government career at Middletown Air Depot, Pa., in 1937, as an aircraft engine mechanic helper. During his tenure there he worked at various engine-work- . er w j 'it. 4 f On July 30, 1965, Middletown was deactivated and he transferred to Hill AFB as an aircraft overhaul inspector. He was ' . (U.S. Air Force Photo) Mr. Forrest f if 9- - ff al f iff t "J S f- , ', yx heard in regard to Mr. Decker's A few of the comments retirement were: SERVING WITH THE MILITARY from August 1943 to March 1946, Mr. Lotito was assigned to the Army Air Corps at Burtonwood Engine Overhaul Depot, Warrington, England, and to the Lockheed Overseas Corp., Belfast, Ireland. During the Korean conflict, from March 1951 until October 1952, he served as an Air Force crew chief with a 7 aircraft unit stationed at McDili AFB, Fla. Mr. Lotito is married and resides in Layton with his wife, Ruth, who also recently retired from Hill AFB after 21 years' service. They have a son, Nicholas, who works in the Navigational Computer Section, MA, and a daughter, Patricia, who is employed at the Social Security Office in Salt Lake City. During Mr. Lotito's career at Hill, he received a Sustained Superior Performance Award for his knowledge of and performance in the Engine Repair Unit. L. J' ""J""1 Music has played a very special part in Mr. Decker's life. He is a pianist and, while in the military, he played the bass, the baritone and the trombone in the Army Service band. His wife, Arlene, also played the trombone. This mutual interest in the trombone led to a pen-pcorrespondence, sons two and and three daughters. marriage v. i positions. 8 Mr. Decker is quite a sports enthusiast. Since members of his family share this interest in sports, there are some lively moments on the home front. He is a tennis buff, a vigorous bowler and an avid golfer. LOTITO'S HOBBIES are Citizen Band radio and traveling. His CB handle is "Seagull One." He and his wife enjoy frequent vacations to San Francisco and Las Vegas.
