Health team completes preliminary report on use, handling of chemicals at Hill AFB The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and Surgeon General staff assistance team left Hill this week after giving a preliminary report of their findings into allegations brought forth during a multi-millio- n dollar lawsuit against the government and specific chemical suppliers. The team emphasized that this report should not be construed to be their final effort, as it is subject to change as a result of further analysis. Union officials and the local press were given copies of the report. Headed by Lt. Col. Johan E. Bayer from the Surgeon General's Office, the team A flurry of activity began this week as project officers and canvassers geared up for "Take Stock the month-lon- g In America" U.S. Savings Bonds campaign at Hill.
