It was usually crowded and it was difficult to keep clean on day and swing shifts. The Four Seasons Cafeteria in Building 402, which is open now 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, has enough seating capacity to take care of peak loads and still leave areas open for cleaning. It will also be more conveniently located and more accessible for other personnel around the base who are working swing, grave and weekend shifts. A bank of vending machines will be located in the north end of the old cafeteria area to provide snacks for personnel in Building 1. What is the Air Force regulation on sick leave? How important is it to get a doctor's slip? Where does the doctor's slip go when you give it to your supervisor? Section C, aneOOALC Supplement 1 thereto are the governing regulations pertaining to sick leave at Ogden ALC. A doctor's slip is always required for sick absences of four or more days. One is also required for each absence regardless of the length of the sick leave in the following circumstances: a. Sick leave used as the result of exposure to, or illness because of contagious diseases. b. Any time an employe has been identified as a suspected sick leave abuser by his supervisor and has been requested, in advance in writing, to furnish a doctor's slip for sick leave taken. Regulation requires supervisors to forward all Application for Leave, or doctor's slips, to the Civilian Pay Unit at the end of each leave year. These are filed by Payroll and are used asi eference material to check sick leave entries on time cards during various types of audits. 40-63- KDMUM) A. Curfew has been discussed many times. It would suggest that Security Police should exercise those controls charged to parents. Nine thirty or ten o'clock in the evening does not appear excessive. The language is a matter of parental supervision. I do not encourage late, hours or vulgarity in children. If there are specific instances of acts of vandalism, vulgarity or other actions not conducive to the best interest of the neighborhood, then the particular incident should be brought to the attention of Security Police. Thank you for your interest. i- A 3C The reason a stop sign has not been installed on the road from the Child Care Center is that the road was designated as a driveway, with insufficient traffic to warrant a stop sign. However, your point is well taken. Plans are currently underway to make the road in front of the Child Care Center into a through street to serve the Community Center parking lot. It does not; however, it can influence final selection. The screening and ranking of promotion candidates are based on factors prescribed in an Ogden ALC regulation. Education in some cases can be substituted for experience but in general, education does not weigh heavily in determining the best qualified. is a merit factor used in the secondary A maximum of two special points are ranking process. added to the total point score of the top five candidates or lower candidates who, when credited with the additional points, place among the group to be referred for interview.
